Secure the scene, look after people, do not rearrange the load. Change nothing that does not have to change – every movement costs evidence.
Document
Photos from four directions, plus details: lashing equipment, fracture points, load securing, odometer. Better too many shots than one missing.
Call
The earlier the better – including at night and at weekends. We will tell you immediately whether an on-site inspection is needed and what to do until then.
